  Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist


We are seeking Pediatric Speech Therapists to join our team, full and part-time, per diem! We provide home based therapies to children with special needs. If you love working with children and families, we’d love to hear from you!

A to Z Therapies strives to provide high quality childhood programs that support and enhance children's primary relationships and potential for optimal development outcomes. Through the program's positive, family-entered, strength-based approach to service delivery, every participating child and his or her family will be empowered with the resources and supports needed to achieve developmental gains in a timely manner. A principal goal and an expected outcome of participation in the program is to ensure that doors will continue to open for Arizona's at-risk children.


Therapist serves as a member of a multidisciplinary, core team providing individualized Early Intervention services to parents, caregivers and family members of eligible infants and toddlers ages birth to three by:

  • Participating as a member of a multidisciplinary evaluation team conducting screenings, ongoing assessments and evaluations using AzEIP-approved tools and instruments and informed clinical opinion in accordance with IDEA -- Part C, to assist with initial and ongoing AzEIP, DDD or ASDB eligibility.
  • Ensuring that ADES/AzEIP approved screening, evaluation and assessment tools and instruments are non-discriminatory and being used as intended.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the initial and subsequent Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) by helping the family to develop participation-based, functional and meaningful outcomes based upon the family’s strengths, interests, priorities and resources.
  • Providing direct services and support to families by facilitating and teaching developmentally-appropriate activities and interventions that are engaging to the child and promote independence.
  • Including all areas of a child’s development in direct services including the areas of cognitive, speech/language, adaptive, social and motor development.
  • Providing services, to the maximum extent possible, in the child’s natural environment including home and/or community settings to help ensure that the activities and interventions are relevant and meaningful to the child’s and family’s everyday life.
  • Individualizing services with respect for each child’s learning style, interests, temperament, culture, disability and medical history and in the context of the parent-child relationship.
  • Assisting the team lead in coordinating each family’s services and the roles and activities of the team members.



  • Speech Therapist: Is a graduate of an accredited Speech and Language Pathology Program. Eligible for a Certificate of Competence (CCC) in Speech and Language Pathology granted by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) or meets the educational and practicum requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating or ready to begin the supervised clinical experience required for certification (CFY).
  • Is licensed by the state of Arizona and registered as required.
  • Will preferably have two years’ experience in pediatric home health.
  • Have current CPR certification.
  • Must pass background check and possess Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Have valid state driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
