Executive Order Expands Telepractice
Governor Ducey has signed an executive order to expand telepractice across all health professions. This includes telepractice coverage for Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. The order stipulates that "all health insurance plans regulated by the Arizona Department of Insurance are hereby required to provide coverage for all healthcare services that are provided through telemedicine". ArSHA expresses our gratitude to Governor Ducey for his action on behalf of the people we serve. Thank you to ArSHA leadership who have been actively involved in this effort . #advocacyinaction
